Frequently asked questions.
What is spirituality?
Spirituality is quickly defined as inner transformation. It can bring lasting and meaningful change to our lives and as we change, the universe changes around us. With this change, there is a nurturing of the inner qualities of the heart, such as courage, hope, faith, wonder, compassion, tolerance, and most of all, Love because that is what we came here to learn.
What is Spiritual Healing?
‘A treatment that involves the transfer of energy through the healer to the recipient. It promotes self-healing by relaxing the body, releasing tensions and strengthening the body’s own immune system. Healing is natural and non-invasive with the intention of bringing the recipient into a state of balance and wellbeing on all levels’ (NFSH Healing Trust)
What is a spiritual transmission?
A spiritual transmission is practice that involves a practitioner channeling your higher self/divine energy to facilitate healing within one’s own soul. This practice is non-denominational and is based on the idea that the "spiritual" aspect refers to working on one's deeper energetic being or higher self. When we attune to what our higher self is trying to tell us, we have everything we need to heal and find balance and ease in our day to day lives.
How do spiritual transmissions work?
On a high level, transmissions act as a conduit of universal energy and allow us to tune into your subtle body to see exactly what you need at this time. I then work with spirit and your intention to direct this energy to you to promote healing, balance and ease. When divine energy is directed into our hearts, we are filled with a force that transcends our own level of development. All that is required of us is that we are sincere in our daily meditation practice. If we dedicate ourselves in this way, a transmission will expand our capacity for growth and accelerate our spiritual progress.
In what ways can a transmission take place?
Many traditions believe this energy can be transmitted in various ways.
Presence: The practitioner whose own consciousness is highly awakened can transmit energy simply through their presence.
Remote healing: This allows for a focused, remote flow of energy regardless of physical distance, leveraging the idea that spiritual energy is quantum and not limited by space or time.
Direct contact: The traditional "laying on of hands" is a common method, seen across various spiritual traditions, to transfer healing energy.
Intention/guided meditation: Conscious thought and intention are used to direct the healing energy.
Symbolic methods: In some practices, objects or specific rituals are used to facilitate the transmission.
What can I expect during a session?
Experiences vary widely, as each person's healing journey is unique. Each person receives a unique process that deals with what they need in this now moment.
During a session, a recipient may feel:
Physical sensations: These can include tingling, warmth, or coolness as energy is transferred.
Deep relaxation: It is common to feel a sense of peace and support.
Emotional release: Tears or laughter can be released as emotional burdens are lifted.
Insight and clarity: Some people gain new perspectives or insights into their life's challenges.
Nothing at all: It's also normal to not feel anything and for healing to still occur on a subtle level.
What are the potential benefits?
Transmission spiritual healing is intended to address imbalances on multiple levels—physical, mental, and emotional. Potential benefits reported by practitioners and recipients include:
Emotional release: Letting go of unresolved traumas, anger, and sadness.
Stress reduction: Inducing a state of deep relaxation and calm.
Increased vitality: Restoring and revitalizing the body's natural energy flow.
Mental clarity: Improving focus, mindfulness, and releasing mental limitations.
Deeper self-connection: Strengthening the connection to one's own inner wisdom and spiritual essence.
Is spiritual transmission safe?
Since this practice is believed to be guided by the recipient's "higher self," it is generally considered safe. The energy is thought to adjust to what the individual most needs at that moment, without being overwhelming. However, it is essential to remember:
Transmission spiritual healing is an alternative and complementary practice, not a replacement for conventional medical treatment.
If you have a serious medical or psychological condition, you should consult a licensed healthcare provider and continue with any prescribed treatments.
How do I know I have the right practitioner?
Look for a practitioner who resonates with you and who has experience in the specific lineage or method you are interested in. Consider these factors:
Practice and lineage: Many forms exist, such as yogic transmission (Shaktipat), Metatronic healing, and others rooted in Christian mysticism.
Referrals: Ask for recommendations from trusted friends or spiritual communities.
Consultations: Some practitioners offer preliminary discussions to see if their approach is a good fit for you.
What should I do after a session?
It is common to feel a period of integration after receiving a transmission. To support the process:
Rest: Listen to your body and rest if you feel tired or need to sleep.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help your body process the energetic shifts.
Observe: Be mindful of any new insights, emotional releases, or shifts in your mental or physical state.
